Terms and Conditions:

The following conditions apply to all residents staying at Sharma Girls Hostel:

1. Entry and Exit Timings:

The gates of the hostel will open at 7:00 AM and will be closed at 9:30 PM daily. No exceptions will be made garding entry and exit timings.

2. Security Deposit:

The security deposit is non-refundable and will only be adjusted against the last month’s rent at the time of check-out.

3. Responsibility for Personal Belongings:

Residents are advised not to keep large amounts of cash or valuable items in their rooms. The hostel management is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings inside the room.

4. Guest Policy:

Any friend or sister staying at the hostel will incur a charge of Rs. 500/- per day,which includes meals.

5. Food Policy:

The quantity of food served is unlimited, except for special items or fruits.
Packing of food for friends or guests is not allowed.

6. Electricity Charges:

Electricity charges for the room are separate and will be calculated based on the sub-meter reading. The Resident agrees to pay for electricity usage on a monthly basis.

7. Laundry Policy:

o Two laundry bags will be provided to the Resident at the time of joining the hostel. Additional laundry bags will cost Rs. 50/- per bag.
o Laundry service allows for a maximum of 2.5 kg/8 pieces of clothes every four days.
o Laundry excceding the allowed weight or frequency will be charged extra.
o The hostel is not responsible for any damage or loss of clothing during the laundry process.
o The laundry service provider will take care to handle your clothes, but we advise you to check your clothes carefully before handing them over.
o By availing the laundry service, you acknowledge that you are aware of the risks and release the hostel from any liability for damages or losses.

8. Rickshaw Service:

The Rickshaw service is complimentary for hostel residents, but the service will be available at fixed timings as determined by the Hostel management.

9. Rent Payment for Extended Holidays:

The Resident agrees to pay the full monthly rent from Aug to June, regardless of any temporary vacating of the premises during extended holidays (e.g., Diwali, Holi, etc.). No deductions or adjustments will be made for the absence during such holidays.

10. Even if a student is absent from the hostel for a few days or a full month due to personal reason ,the rent and food charges for the full month will still be payable.

11. Residents are responsible for the keys to their rooms and almirahs. In case of loss or misplacement:

Residents will be charged for the cost of replacing the lock.
Labour charges for replacing the lock will also be borne by the resident.
